inner grids
generative art | iD & br.
where inner structures almost meet.
inner grids explores the superposition of two inner architectures.
each grid functions as an autonomous mental structure, shaping perception and spatial organization.
the grids never fully align. Rectangles approach, partially overlap, and drift apart, forming unstable zones of resonance.
rather than harmony, the work focuses on proximity: fleeting moments of compatibility between parallel structures that never merge.
each iteration of Inner Grids is generated through variable parameters controlling grid density, offset, scale, and positional drift.
these parameters determine the frequency and intensity of near alignments, ensuring that no two outputs share the same relational configuration.
Compatibility is not predefined; it emerges from the generative process itself, making each composition a unique balance between approach and distance.
